It is a with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Retired Captain Dave Ross. Dave was a member of IAFF Local 1782, working for Coquitlam Fire Rescue from 1973 to 2009. He lost his battle with esophageal cancer early this morning. His death will be considered in the line of duty as his occupational disease is one of our 10 presumptive cancers under WorkSafe BC legislation.
Funeral/Celebration of life arrangements will be announced shortly and information will be sent out to members as soon as possible.
